In March 2018, Flint Eastwood finally made her way up to Vancouver for the first time, opening for PVRIS at the Vogue Theatre. I had the pleasure of chatting with Jax Anderson (aka Flint Eastwood) before she passionately delivered her songs to a somewhat shocked but willing audience.
We talked about touring, her favourite experiences on the road, the ever-changing live-band lineup she tours with, why she made the switch from her career in video editing, and her love for the community studio in Detroit called Assemble Sound. We also discussed her experience having the Flint Eastgoods pop-up shop, why she wants to spread positivity in her online presence, music she’s been really into lately, and her adorable cat named Pancake.
